Satoshi Era Whale Awakens From Deep Sleep: 2290x Increase!

Earlier today, a dormant Bitcoin wallet created in the early 2010s, containing over $15 million, became active.

The Whale Alert crypto monitoring platform tweeted at 6:00 pm today that an inactive Bitcoin wallet had been activated by this time. The account has been inactive since 2013, just a few years after the mysterious Bitcoin creator Satoshi Nakamoto disappeared from the public eye, but Bitcoiners could still sense its presence back then.

The wallet contains 321 Bitcoins. 8.8 years later today, the value of this crypto has risen from just $6,594 to $15,103,046. In other words, Bitcoin in the wallet has experienced a dazzling increase of approximately 2290 times so far.

In his comment thread, a Twitter user noted that this wallet activation could have several explanations. People; They believe that many options are possible, from the return of Satoshi Nakamoto to the patient investor who has decided to sell their BTC now, or someone who has just remembered the seed phrase for their Bitcoin wallet.

Both last year and this year, several dormant Bitcoin wallets were activated, containing tens of millions of dollars in the 2011-2013 flagship cryptocurrency.

The community previously feared such activations of old “sleeper” wallets because whales carrying BTC from them could drive the BTC price down with their sales. Today, however, these movements do not affect the price of the leading digital currency much.
