The company, which wants to increase its market share in the smartphone market, cooperated with Qualcomm and had the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor produced for the Galaxy S23. The processor, which will be produced with 4nm technology, will use 1 x 3.36GHz ARM Cortex-X3, 2 x 2.8GHz ARM Cortex-A715, 2 x 2.8GHz ARM Cortex-A710 and 3 x 2.0GHz ARM Cortex-A510 cores. It is worth noting that in the standard version of the processor, the ARM Cortex-X3 core runs at 3.2GHz.

Qualcomm will include the Adreno 740 graphics interface that supports Ray Tracing technology in Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Although it has not been finalized yet, it is estimated that Qualcomm has also overclocked the graphics interface for the Galaxy S23 family.

According to South Korean publication EtNews, Samsung Electronics has prepared the necessary infrastructure for the satellite connection of the soon-to-be-released Galaxy S23 devices. By signing an agreement with Iridium, the company will provide voice and data communications services with 66 low-orbit communications satellites.

It is stated that the company will provide text and image transfer as well as voice communication, unlike Huawei and Apple. Claimed to be working on satellite communication technologies for the last two years, Samsung will start testing its new feature in the last quarter of 2023.
