Mobile World Congress was one of Samsung’s most important release calendars in recent years. Between 2014 and 2018 we often drove to Barcelona for Samsung’s new Galaxy S phones. However, with the Galaxy S9, which it launched in 2018, the company started to introduce its devices at the Unpacked event.
The reason is simple: While Samsung has always been one of the most talked about brands at Mobile World Congress, its biggest rivals are also introducing new models at the same event.
