Samsung, one of the successful players in the smartphone market, has recently changed its update policy significantly and started to provide 6-7 years of software support for its new models. However, unfortunately, old products released in previous years are not included in this scope. For this reason, the company is preparing to pull the plug on a popular model that has achieved significant sales success.
Galaxy A52s is on its last legs: It will now receive updates every three months
Samsunggives to its products without completely cutting off software support before update gradually reducing its frequency. For example, at the beginning of this year, the Galaxy A52 and A52 5G models were removed from the monthly update schedule and started receiving quarterly security patches.

Although it is not certain at the moment, it is estimated that the model’s software support will completely end in October 2025.
The last Android and One UI update for the smartphone was also released six months ago. In short, the model is forever Android 14 based One UI 6 interface will run it.
