Russia’s war against Ukraine – all developments

The Group of Large Economic Nations (G20) advocates the continuation of the agreement on the export of Ukrainian grain. In the draft for the final declaration of the summit on the Indonesian island of Bali, which was presented to the German Press Agency on Tuesday, the agreement concluded with Russia through the mediation of Turkey and the UN is expressly welcomed.

“We stressed the need for comprehensive, timely and ongoing implementation by all stakeholders concerned,” notes the G20 group, which also includes Russia. The aim is to reduce tensions and avoid food insecurity and hunger in developing countries, the draft goes on to say.

The deal expires at the end of the week. An extension is being negotiated. Moscow unilaterally suspended the agreement for several days in October and recently rejected an automatic extension.
