Berlin Food exports from Ukraine falter again. Kyiv accuses Russia of massively blocking exports. “More than 100 grain cargo ships are piling up in the Bosphorus because Russian officials are deliberately delaying the agreed inspections of the ships,” Ukrainian Agriculture Minister Mykola Solskyj told Handelsblatt. And this despite the international agreement that was supposed to keep the export corridor across the Black Sea free.

The Kyiv-based European Business Association, a business association of European companies operating in Ukraine, is also sounding the alarm and has therefore contacted UN Secretary General António Guterres and the Turkish representative Yagmur Ahmet Güldere: The number of inspections of grain carriers in Istanbul has fallen dramatically , there are delays of several weeks for the ships.
