RTX 4090 on a laptop for the first time!

HP is preparing to launch its next-generation Omen 17 gaming laptops. With the release of new generation processors and graphics cards to consumers, HP accidentally disclosed some information about its laptops to the public.

NVIDIA’s next-generation graphics card on laptop for the first time

The four models mistakenly listed by HP include Intel’s 13th generation Raptor Lake processors and NVIDIA’s Ada Lovelace RTX 40 series graphics cards. Thus, we saw ahead of time what HP’s gaming department has prepared for the coming year.

The main features of 2023 HP Omen laptops are listed as follows:

  • CM2007NQ/CM2005NQ: Core i7-13700HX & RTX 4060 8GB
  • CM2001NQ: Core i7-13700HX & RTX 4070 8GB
  • CK2007NQ/CK2004NQ: Core i7-13700HX & RTX 4080 12GB
  • CK2001NQ: Core i7-13700HX & RTX 4090 16GB

Nvidia RTX 4070 may be less performant than expected!

While there were questions about Nvidia’s new graphics card in mind, a number of leaks came about the card. Here comes the RTX 4070!

At this point, the most remarkable event was the RTX 4090 series to find a place for itself in the laptop. The GeForce RTX 4090 laptop version is equipped with 16GB of VRAM, and it seems likely that the graphics card SKU is set to power and clock constraints so that it can run within a reasonable TDP.

While NVIDIA apparently offers customers a laptop option with an RTX 4090 graphics card, we’ll have to wait and see what the CUDA core counts are and how performance scales in a more constrained laptop environment. HP’s OMEN signed gaming laptops are expected to be introduced at the beginning of 2023.

This information shared by Twitter user @momomo_us, who has shared many hardware leaks before, has excited gamers. It will be really exciting to see the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 on a laptop for the first time. So what do you think of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090?
