Renault and Dacia prices see their first hike
Both manufacturers continue their activities under the roof of the same company. Renault, which sells entry-level to mid-level vehicles in Turkey, and Dacia, which sells entry-level vehicles, were generally a good choice with their prices. Renault’s popular cars Clio and megane; Dacia’s famous Sandero Stepway among those whose cars were increased.

These hikes were made to the sales prices recommended by the manufacturers. So when you go to a dealer, it is possible to hear different prices. Although there are only ‘small’ increases in starting prices at the moment, in the coming weeks package and engine options can also be increased.
The most worrying thing about the price at the moment is the entry of the vehicles, whose prices have increased due to the foreign currency, into the new SCT segment. Since the tax is regulated according to the price of the vehicle in our country, these vehicles may enter the new tax bracket with the increase in the price. This means that the price will increase drastically.
Estimated increase of 12 percent until the beginning of the year
Although the manufacturers have not made an official statement yet, according to general estimates Until January 2022, prices will increase by 11-12 percent. Apart from this possible hike, which may be caused by the exchange rate, there is also the possibility of problems in sales due to the chip crisis.
