Remarkable Decision Came From India, Where Cryptocurrencies Will Be Banned!

The meeting planned for the future of cryptocurrencies in India, which is one of the leading countries in the world in terms of crypto money investors and interest, has come to an end.

The meeting, hosted by the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Finance, was chaired by the leader of the ruling party, Jayant Sinha. Experts in the crypto field, representatives of leading cryptocurrency exchanges and representatives of political parties also attended this meeting.

This meeting was the first official meeting in India to receive input from crypto industry stakeholders.

In India, where it was discussed that crypto currency bans would be implemented, a consensus was reached at the meeting that cryptocurrencies would not be stopped, but should be regulated.

There are currently no prohibitions or regulations regarding cryptocurrencies in India. In this context, the meeting raised concerns about the use of cryptocurrencies in illegal activities such as terrorist financing and money laundering.

The meeting also discussed how to handle foreign crypto exchanges, how to control crypto-related advertising campaigns, how to provide investor protection.

The Indian government, which wants to reach a decision on crypto money, wants to present the crypto law at the parliamentary session, which is scheduled to start at the end of the month, according to reports in the past months.

Although there is an opinion that cryptocurrencies will not be banned in India for now, Shaktikanta Das, Chairman of the Central (Reserve) Bank of India, argues that he is against cryptocurrencies and should be banned.

Das has repeatedly called for a ban on the government, reiterating that he stands by his views on cryptocurrencies.
