In other words, it does not include EU type approved vehicles sold or produced in Turkey, but rather vehicles with national type approval produced and sold in Turkey. According to Özpeynirci, this decision is due to the high amount of spare parts remaining in the hands of domestic manufacturers.
The Ministry confirmed that imported vehicles were not affected by the postponement decision.
