The asylum pressure on the Polish-German border is growing. More than 3,100 people, mostly from Syria, Iraq or Iran, arrived in October alone. Federal Interior Minister Seehofer (CSU) is even considering border controlsto prevent illegal immigration.
The North Rhine-Westphalian migration minister and FDP state chief Joachim Stamp (51) sees the blame for the now increasing number of asylum seekers in the Union-led federal government!
Stamp to BILD: “The record of the CDU and CSU in migration policy is pathetic. The Union has not even managed to begin to reduce irregular migration and instead organize the necessary labor immigration. “
At this point, “bringing order to the system” is a task for the new government, continues Stamp, who also sets the route for a possible upcoming traffic light coalition.
In the traffic light exploratory paper, the SPD, Greens and FDP agreed to reorganize migration in Germany, but above all to accelerate the process: for asylum seekers, family reunification, but also for deportations.
“Criminals dance around us on the nose”
► Stamps settlement with the Union: “To this day, the internal politicians of the CDU and CSU have not understood that Germany often deports the wrong people, namely workers and integrated families, while criminals and threats dance around us.”
He calls for a “change of lane” during migration in order to help craft businesses and companies and at the same time to relieve the burden on the immigration authorities.
What is meant is: A revision of the Skilled Workers Immigration Act to simplify the integration of foreign skilled workers, as it appears in the traffic light paper. Well-integrated immigrants who earn their own living in Germany should receive a legally secure residence status more quickly. This should also reduce the shortage of skilled workers and strengthen the pay-as-you-go pension, according to the traffic light plan.
These traffic light plans would presumably lead to MORE illegal migration, criticizes the CDU interior politician Christoph de Vries (46).
De Vries calls faster procedures for asylum seekers and family reunification, as planned by the traffic light, “not good signals, but pull effects”. Stamp contradicts: Anyone who believes that “has no idea about the practice”.
