Reddit takes another step for the IPO

Dusseldorf The social network Reddit is pushing its IPO further. On Wednesday it filed a corresponding application with the US Securities and Exchange Commission. The valuation of the company was after a financing round in the middle of the year at ten billion dollars. Reddit is targeting a valuation of $ 15 billion in the upcoming IPO.

Further details were not disclosed. According to its own information, the San Francisco-based company has not yet set the number of shares or the price range.

Reddit is a social network that calls itself the “home page of the Internet”. According to the company, more than 50 million daily users can create forums on the platform and share links, photos and videos. They exchange views on a wide variety of interests – including stocks.
