Even if the boom has slowed down a bit recently, there is still a desperate need for HR professionals. Since the beginning of the corona pandemic, the number of advertised positions has increased by 130 percent.

Berlin Competent HR professionals find new talent, keep employees and are therefore crucial for the company’s success. If you want to win the fight against the shortage of skilled workers, you also need competent personnel in the human resources department. But there is also a lack of that in the Human Resources (HR) department. And recruiters are therefore currently in high demand.

This is shown by the current “skilled worker index” by the HR consultancy Hays, which is available exclusively to the Handelsblatt. Even if the boom is slowly flattening out a little, the number of advertised HR positions has risen by more than 130 percent since the beginning of the corona pandemic – and thus more than the demand for the sought-after IT specialists.

“HR managers are in great demand on the job market,” says Inga Dransfeld-Haase, President of the Federal Association of Personnel Managers (BPM). If positions remain vacant, in the worst case this will slow down the entire development of the company.
