You had a true Guardian Angel!
Last Friday morning at around 6 am, “Real McCoy” singer Sara Mosquera (35, “Another Night”) had a serious accident in a car. Cervical vertebra fracture!

The half-Colombian, who was a candidate for the Vox casting show “X Factor” in 2011, was on her way home from her vacation in Italy (Lake Garda) to Berlin.
Her partner Patric Henschel (37, real estate consultant) was behind the wheel when her Audi A8 was hit by a van on the A9 near Weißenfels (Saxony-Anhalt) and thrown against a guardrail, then pulled along by a truck.

Spontaneous action saved Lina (4) life
Sara Mosquera to BILD: “We had a hundred thousand guardian angels. Our day had probably not yet come. The occupant in the passenger seat would have been worst hit. “
A stroke of fate. “My four-year-old daughter was sitting there until shortly before the accident. The whole child seat broke afterwards, the window on the passenger side imploded ”, says Mosquera. Sara was sleeping in the back seat with her kids when the horror crash happened!
Mosquera to BILD: “It was so blatant: my daughter Lina wanted to be in the back seat with me the whole time. At some point my partner, who was behind the wheel, gave in. My daughter crawled into the back seat with me and our son. I had the baby belted and my daughter on my lap. So we slept in the back when the impact happened … ”

This is how the accident happened
Mosquera: “I woke up from the bang. A pickup truck hit us. As a result, we were thrown with full force on the guardrail on the left and then we were swept away by a truck on the highway. Then we skidded and at the end came to a stop on the far right. “
All survived – miraculously!
The singer was in shock, had a blackout: “I got out of the car and no longer knew where we came from and wanted to go …”
Two ambulances came. The family was separated and taken to two different clinics in Halle and Leipzig. “My husband and daughter were taken to another ambulance. I had my son in the baby carrier and was taken to another polytrauma clinic, ”said Mosquera.

All injured
The singer’s partner suffered chest bruises and her daughter broke her right wrist. The six-month-old Lian only got “a small scratch on the temple”.
Mosquera to BILD: “I now have a ruff because I have a fractured cervical vertebra. The doctors have prescribed me six weeks of bed rest. ”

The result: The “Real McCoy” performance at the “Total Dance Festival” in Budapest (Hungary) on the day after the accident and on October 2 in Norway had to be canceled.
The Audi was completely destroyed by the force of the accident – but the family was still lucky in the accident. “The police said, ‘This car saved your life!’ Our Audi A8 sedan had an unbelievable amount of crumple zone, ”says Sara.

Guardian angel for Sarah’s grandmother went with me
Or was it because the family had a guardian angel in the car? “Our neighbors went to the ADAC on the same day to get our suitcases and strollers out of the wrecked car. Then my neighbor sent me a photo of an angel she found in the center console of our car … ”

Where did the angel come from?
Mosquera: “My daughter chose this angel when my grandma died a month ago. She actually wanted to put it on her grave at the funeral. But at the last second she said: ‘I want to keep the angel! I like it so much. ‘ Our daughter put it in our center console in the car on the way back. ”
And further: “When my neighbor sent the photo of this angel, I just thought: My grandmother has probably sent a guardian angel for us from heaven.”
