Paris Finally Paris again: This time I’m staying in the middle of Montparnasse in the Pullmann, a 957-room hotel on 32 floors that was reopened five months ago after four years of construction. It is now the new flagship of the Pullmann Group, an Accor brand.

To be honest, big hotels always trigger negative feelings in me a priori. As a young man I spent some time in the USA and attended Cornell University for Hotel Management.

As part of my studies, I took a tour of the Marriott Marquis in Times Square. I was impressed by the process flows, everything seemed to mesh like clockwork.
