Satellite internet network Starlink continues to expand among airline companies. Qatar’s largest airline Qatar Airways, SpaceX Starlink announced that it has established a new partnership with its network. In this context, it announced that it plans to offer high-speed satellite internet connection on certain flights.
Qatar Airways will provide Starlink internet support on flights
Qatar’s national airline; It will provide Starlink’s satellite-supported Wi-Fi service to Boeing 777-300 aircraft. Stating that they have four Boeing 777-300s in total, the company will offer Starlink experience on three aircraft. It was stated that satellite internet service will be available by the fourth quarter of the year.
Passengers on these flights will have free access to ultra-high-speed internet of up to 500 Mbps. Qatar Airways CEO Akbar Al Baker underlined that the partnership with Starlink will greatly contribute to the flight experience.
