Money laundering incidents continue to grow on Twitch, which is one of the most important topics in Turkey in recent days. As the turmoil continued on Twitch, many began to visit the broadcasters’ old broadcasts and videos. This is how a Twitch streamer who was thought to be involved in money laundering on Twitch, but deceived his viewers for fundraising, emerged. The publisher named Didem was collecting donations on the grounds that she would have cyst surgery. But in his broadcast, he accidentally showed himself for a moment that this was a lie.

The publisher named Didem, who previously broadcast on Twitch on his channel named ‘didemss’, said in December 2020, ‘cyst surgeryHe was opening a donation bar with the title ‘. The donation bar, which had a target of 10 thousand TL, was filling up as donations came in. Many of the donors thought they were donating to help Didem’s cyst surgery. But for a moment, Didem, who reflected the Discord conversations on the broadcast, also revealed her deception.
There was a message “Need fake cyst report” in Didem’s Discord chat. These messages of Didem proved that her cyst surgery was a lie. Moreover, he also accepted the situation with his statement on this subject and explained why he did such a thing.
Didem made a statement on the subject:
Sharing a statement from her Instagram account, Didem stated that the incident happened when she was just starting broadcasting, and that it was watched by about 30 people at that time. He explained the reason for the donation stick opened for cyst surgery as follows:
“When we talked to our friends, we thought we should open a donate bar, which is ridiculous, we didn’t think it would be full, there was a reel between us and I did not open such a donate bar for a troll and think about it because I was watched by 20-30 (…) Another reason I opened ‘cyst surgery’ donate bar is not because I have a cyst in my chest. If I open it directly as ‘breast aesthetics’, it may be condemned by people. Is what I’m doing right? No, I know not. (…) The fake report issue is also a complete troll.)
Didem, after this broadcast replaces cyst surgery knowledge with breast aesthetics also stated.
It was also thought to be involved in the scam on Twitch, but there is not enough evidence:
In the Discord conversations that Didem showed, ‘throw 10k‘ and ‘The last man said he will come soon‘, which led to questions about whether he was involved in the money laundering business, which is currently on the agenda.
