The Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), today shared the first inflation data of 2022, the January inflation data. Annual inflation was announced as 48.7%, just below the expected rate, while the monthly inflation rate was 11.1%. TURKSTAT, in addition to this, in January products with the highest prices also announced.
According to the shared data, in December The product with the highest price, electricity charges it happened. So much so that in the period of December 2021, the cost of electricity increased by 69.97% compared to the previous month.
