Production has been stopped! Cybertruck Foundation says goodbye

Tesla, one of the most expensive electric vehicle models Cybertruck Foundation decided to end production of the series. The vehicle, which costs 100 thousand dollars, is being replaced by more affordable models. So why was its production stopped? Here are the details

Tesla is stopping production of the Cybertruck Foundation Series, which it started delivering in November 2023. What made these models stand out from the rest was that they were packed with important extras such as unlimited lifetime Supercharging, free fully autonomous driving (FSD), bi-directional charging system voucher and accessory kit. But of course, these had a price: exactly 100 thousand dollars. This naturally put the vehicle in the luxury category.

The only reason why production has stopped is not because it is expensive. There was actually a lot of excitement at first about these early deliveries, but recently the crazy wait has died down. On top of that, other electric trucks like the Ford F-150 Lightning have increased the competition. Additionally, demand in the electric pickup truck market has also slowed.

However, deliveries of these new models will not begin until 2025.

Tesla is increasing its speed in Cybertruck production other than the Foundation series. Currently, 1,300 units are produced per week, but the target is to reach 2,500 units per week by the end of the year. If this goal is achieved, it will be able to deliver new Cybertruck models on time.
