Stating that the Justice and Development Party’s signature will be underpinned by this technology, as in every technological achievement in the country, the President suggested that while trying to complete Turkey’s century-old investment shortcomings, they did not neglect to establish a strong infrastructure for the needs of the time.
Noting that Turkey has become a country that produces its own satellites and launches its own space program, the President said that catching up with technological innovations is very important for the realization of the 2053 vision. On this issue, he acknowledged that only the fiber infrastructure was slow and promised that the works will be accelerated in the near future.
Expressing that Turkey has managed to become a country that spends more than 1% of its national income on R&D by increasing its R&D expenditures to 55 billion liras, Erdoğan stated that two-thirds of these expenditures are made by the private sector. He says it’s a sign that he’s on his way.
Erdoğan pointed out that great progress has been made in the field of Technoparks, defense industry and finance since the AK Party came to the government.
Connecting the popularity of blockchain technology to the developments in cryptocurrencies, Erdoğan stated that the benefits of this technology, which has made great progress in the last 10 years, can radically change the current economic and commercial system.
