Popular Trading Platform eToro Listed These 2 Altcoins!

eToro, a popular investment platform, announced in a statement yesterday that it has listed 2 popular cryptocurrencies. With the effect of the recovery in the general crypto market, both cryptocurrencies have increased since the announcement. Phantom (FTM) price witnessed an increase of over 15 percent, while 24-hour trading volume also increased by 77 percent.

The investment platform is also a decentralized streaming platform with FTM. Theta Network (THETA) also listed. After the addition of FTM and THETA to the platform, the total number of cryptocurrencies available on eToro has reached 57.

FTM mainnet is now on eToro

A smart contract platform created as an alternative to Ethereum (ETH) Phantom (FTM)has suffered quite a lot due to some news that made the headlines recently.

In an announcement made in early March; DeFi developers Andre Cronje and Anton Nell announced that they are leaving the crypto space. FTM was one of the platforms that these two developers were associated with, and it was badly affected. In addition, it was claimed that as of April 3, a total of 25 decentralized finance applications associated with Cronje and Nell will be terminated.

However, FTM CEO Michael Kong handled the situation quite well and quickly made a statement without allowing for speculation. Kong described the announcement as misleading in terms of the token.

In a statement, Fantom Network thanked Andre for working with them for 4 years and adding value to Fantom and the entire crypto and DeFi space in general, and stated that users need not worry, they will follow the steps on the platform’s roadmap.

Phantom and Theta have witnessed drops of around 20 percent and 13 percent, respectively, over the past 7 days, following the downtrend that has been influential in the overall crypto market. But the prices of both THETA and FTM have soared since the new eToro listing.
