Berlin The Washington Post reports that it has identified the person responsible for what is currently the biggest intelligence scandal in the United States in about ten years.
The man who released US intelligence documents on the front line in Ukraine is said to be known as “OG” on the popular Discord platform among gamers. The documents first appeared on the platform before being published on other platforms such as 4Chan. The “Washington Post” describes “OG” as a “young, charismatic” gun enthusiast who attracted attention, among other things, through anti-Semitic and racist statements.
In a closed group on Discord called Thug Shaker Central, of which he is said to have been the “leader”, OG is said to have regularly posted what turned out to be intelligence documents. OG claimed he had information the government was keeping from “ordinary people”. According to OG, he brought the documents “from his work in a military base”.
