According to the meeting calendar published by the SEC on its official website, the meeting, which will start at 10 am and end at 4 pm, will be open to the public.
Investor protection, the main goal of the SEC, will be the focus of the meeting. At this meeting, the Commission will also talk about the rapid development of the cryptocurrency market and new ways to protect investors in the face of it.
Topics to be covered at this highly anticipated meeting of the SEC include the regulatory framework for digital assets, DeFi, Blockchain, crypto-asset-based ETFs and stablecoins.
The SEC’s meeting on December 2, which will be open to the public, is said to be positive for the crypto industry, although there has been no reaction from the markets yet.
