iPhone 14 will now get less hot
The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus will be powered by the same processor that powers the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max. However, although it is called A15, the processors of the new models have 5 GPU cores instead of 4. Thanks to the added core, the iPhone 14 will be able to reach higher performance levels.
The more powerful processor, on the other hand, brings some question marks about heating. To fix this issue, Apple announced that it is overhauling the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus. With the changes made, iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus users will be able to get longer battery life without their phones getting hot.
Brighter flash light
Alongside the new camera features, Apple has made the True Tone flash brighter on the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus. Offering up to twice as bright light in certain conditions, the flash will help its user in low light conditions. With the new flash, improved lens and features with updated image signal processing, Apple states that the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus offer 2.5 times better low-light performance on the main Wide and Ultra Wide camera.
Long battery life on iPhone 14 Plus
Apple has announced that they offer the longest battery life ever in the new iPhone 14 Plus model. Thanks to its larger size, the iPhone 14 Plus can host a larger battery than the iPhone 14. The iPhone 14 Plus also lacks advanced battery-hungry features like the ProMotion display, unlike the iPhone 13 Pro Max and iPhone 14 Pro Max.
With the lack of advanced features, larger battery and updates in the internal design, we can say that the iPhone 14 Plus is the best iPhone for long uses. Apple states that iPhone 14 Plus users can play video for up to 26 hours, compared to the 20 hours offered on the standard iPhone 14.
Selfie camera with autofocus
The front camera on the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus now supports autofocus for the first time. Autofocus ensures that the main element is always in the frame to make images sharper and more detailed. In addition to autofocus, the front camera on the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus now also has a wider aperture that provides a 2x improvement in low-light performance.
Renewed color options
iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus come in blue, purple, midnight, starlight, and (PRODUCT) red. However, it should be noted that all colors have changed, albeit slightly. While the red color is made brighter than before, the blue appears in a lighter tone.
On the other hand, Apple has added the new purple color option to its color palette with the iPhone 14 series.
