Berlin, Teltow The SPD chancellor candidate Olaf Scholz can hardly save himself from good wishes from the base at an event in Teltow, Brandenburg on Tuesday. His mood is correspondingly good during the subsequent Handelsblatt interview.
In it, Olaf Scholz promises the German economy reliable framework conditions: “You can invest, you can expand capacities – without taking the risk that everything will be different in a few years.”
While the Green candidate Annalena Baerbock recently claimed that the market doesn’t care about people, the Federal Minister of Finance says: “The market is highly efficient and it is the basis for our prosperity.” To be able to join the FDP: “I am an experienced negotiator.”
