Animoca Brands, which invests in non-fungible token (NFT) and metaverse areas, has received another $75 million in funding.
Animoca Brands received approximately $360 million in funding in January of this year and its value in three months. has doubled and had a valuation of $5.5 billion.
This new funding from a group of investors, including Liberty City Ventures, 10T and Kingsway, adds value to the company. $5.9 billion took it out.
Animoca Brands has received new funding to fund acquisitions and new investments, advance product development and some popular license intellectual property will use for.
In the current portfolio of Animoca Brands, operating in the field of NFT more than 150 projects exists. Among these, in addition to others Dapper Labs, developer of Axie Infinity, NBA Top Shot and OpenSea exists.
The company also has a stake in the popular metaverse game The Sandbox.
