The new generation model of Nissan Qashqai, which has sold more than 5 million in the world and more than 155 thousand in our country, has been put on sale in Turkey. High torque, low fuel consumption and 1.3 liter gasoline, mild hybrid engine technology with low fuel consumption and CO2 emissions, 4×4 traction system and advanced XTRONIC CVT transmission with shift-by-wire feature are among the prominent features of the vehicle.

New Nissan Qashqai features

The new Nissan Qashqai has Nappa leather seats developed with NASA technology. These special seats, which were produced in 25 days for each vehicle, offer heating and memory features to the users. The front seats with massage feature, which the company introduced in the new Qashqai for the first time in its models in our country, have 3 different massage options with adjustable speed and intensity.

Vehicle with a 12.3 inch wide fully digital instrument cluster; It contributes to improving the digital driving experience with 13 different customizable information screen options. In the interior design, we come across a 9-inch wide touchscreen infotainment screen with wireless Apple CarPlay infrastructure. At the same time, there is a 10-speaker (8 speakers + 2 Subwoofer) sound system developed with BOSE engineers.

New Qashqai is equipped with a system that detects up to three vehicles in front and warns the driver when one of the vehicles brakes, thanks to the Foresight Intelligent Collision System. In addition, features such as Intelligent Cruise Control, Steering-Assisted Lane Keeping Assistant, Intelligent Vehicle Cross Traffic Alert and Intelligent Blind Spot Prevention System increase safety to the top.

Nissan used mild hybrid technology, which provides more efficiency and reduces carbon emissions, in the engine of the new Qashqai. In mild hybrid technology, the gasoline engine is powered by a 12V electrical system and a lithium-ion battery. Thanks to the energy recovery system, the lithium-ion battery stores the energy released during braking and supports the gasoline engine by sending it to the electric motor when necessary. In this way, it helps to reduce fuel consumption by reducing the load on the gasoline engine and the vehicle can stay in the stop/start position for a longer time.

Being the only model with mild hybrid technology among the C-SUV models in the Turkish market, the new Qashqai offers one of the highest torque values ​​in its segment with 270 Nm (CVT).

The new generation Qashqai, which is the first model in its segment to offer gasoline mild hybrid technology with a 4×4 traction system, appeals to a wider user base. The 4×4 drive system is combined with XTRONIC CVT transmission and rear independent suspension. The rear independent suspension contributes to the handling of the car and offers maximum comfort, especially for the rear seat passengers.

3 different driving modes are offered as standard in the new Qashqai: Eco, Standard, Sport. When the 4×4 traction system is preferred, 2 more driving modes are added that provide optimum traction by activating the lock function, especially at the first start: Off-road and Snow.

Various improvements have been made on the new X-Tronic CVT automatic transmission to be integrated into mild hybrid technology. The friction inside the transmission has been reduced by 29%, while its structure has been made 14% more compact. At the same time, to increase driving pleasure, gear shift responses have been made more sporty and gearshift paddles behind the steering wheel have been added for the first time in Qashqai.
