MG unveiled its new electric car, the MG 4, last month. It is certain that the vehicle, which attracts attention due to its price-performance balance compared to its competitors, will enter the European market this year. It is expected to arrive in Turkey in the first quarter of 2023.
But before this vehicle, it was revealed that the MG ZS EV model will go on sale in the last quarter of the year. According to the version we reviewed last year, we see some changes in both engine and interior design. So although it is quite similar from the outside, there are many changes inside.

The MG ZS EV is among the SUVs that rival Togg in terms of its features. However, it aims to provide this competition not with its high performance, but with its affordable price. The version we reviewed last year had 143 HP engine power. The new model we will see on the roads this year will be 115 kW, that is, 155 HP.
The vehicle offers a WLTP range of 440 km. Let’s also say that it can fill up to 80 percent in 40 minutes with 92 kW fast charging. 0-50 km / h acceleration is 3.6 seconds. Of course, when the performance is selected among the 3 available modes, the data can be accessed.
The car’s top speed is limited to 175km/h. Although many people do not like the restrictions, let us state that it is much higher than the legal highway speed limit in Turkey. In addition, there are many innovations in the vehicle such as MG Pilot driving assistant and vehicle-to-vehicle charging feature.
When we look inside, we see 2 different screens, 10.1 inches + 7 inches. Wireless charging and Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support are offered for smartphones. In addition, the roof section of the vehicle has a large panoramic glass roof that can be opened in the front. On the outside, we see a renewed grilleless grille and front and rear LED differences.
The vehicle, which has 2 packages, Comfort and Luxury, offers features such as blind spot monitoring, rear traffic warning, 360-degree camera, power folding side mirrors, 6-way power driver’s seat, seat heating, keyless entry and dark windows.
The price of the MG ZS EV model was announced as 394 thousand TL and 409 thousand TL for Comfort and Luxury packages last year. However, due to the price hikes and the increase in the exchange rate, it is currently sold with a price tag ranging from 800 to 900 thousand TL. After the tax regulation on electric cars, the new version is expected to be offered for sale at a price of less than 1 million TL.
