Layer 1 Blockchain Aptos (APT) is named Petra, developed by Aptos Labs. cryptocurrency He said that he cooperated with web3 fintech giant company MoonPay through his wallet.
Collaboration Between Aptos and MoonPay
The partnership will make it easier for users to join the Aptos ecosystem through MoonPay’s services.
“Integrating with the growing Aptos ecosystem first through the Petra wallet is another step towards fulfilling our mission, especially as the blockchain expands and usage increases,” said Bree Blazak, MoonPay vice president of global sales.
MoonPay also recently listed the Aptos token APT on its platform. The token began trading on exchanges with the blockchain, which went live on the mainnet in October.
Aptos has been one of the biggest buzz projects in crypto this year. It was founded by Mo Shaikh and Avery Ching, who both previously worked on Meta’s Diem project.
The chain uses Move, a programming language built on top of the Rust language used on the Solana blockchain. Move was developed by Meta for the Diem project.
The startup has raised $350 million this year from investors including Binance Labs, a16z and Multicoin Capital.
Following the integration with Petra, MoonPay plans to partner with other decentralized applications on the chain.
MoonPay offers a variety of on and off services, as well as a consultation service and a self-service NFT minting platform called HyperMint to enable high-net-worth individuals to purchase NFTs. The company has previously partnered with companies like Universal, Trezor, and Opensea.
Aptos has also recently partnered with Google Cloud, announcing a program to power some of the giant company’s blockchain validator nodes as well as incentivize new talent through its accelerator program and hackathon.
