A new member is expected to arrive in the 10.2-inch iPad model this year during Apple’s fall product launches. According to the previously revealed specifications, the designs of the new iPad, which will have an A14 chip, 5G cellular and a USB-C port for charging and data transfer, have also leaked this time. The 10th-gen iPad may have a design closer to the iPad mini, with straight edges, a rear camera bump, and more, according to images of the device, which MySmartPrice claims is obtained from a case maker.
From the CAD renders, we can see that the general shape of the next-gen model will remain the same. The iPad will continue to have large bezels along with a Touch ID home button. However, the edges of the device look flatter compared to the more curved shape of the 2021 generation.
However, a new design for the camera system can be seen on the back. Similar to older dual-camera iPhones, the tenth-generation iPad’s camera is elevated in a protruding round rectangular module. This image may show that Apple has upgraded the camera sensor this year, so the overall component is getting bigger and needs more internal space.

According to these diagrams, the overall size of the iPad measures 248mm x 179mm x 6.98mm. These dimensions equate to 250mm x 174mm x 7.50mm for the current 2021 generation. While the figures do not include the measurement of the rear camera bulge, it does mean that the overall iPad case has gotten a little thinner.
