Reed Hastings, the founder and CEO of Netflix, one of the most expensive digital broadcasting platforms, announced the move they will make to reduce the cost. Hastings spoke in a video revealing the company’s earnings reports for the first quarter of 2022.

Netflix will roll out its ad-supported package in a year or two. Reed Hastings did not reveal the price of this package. Currently offering 480P quality of Netflix in the US Its Basic plan is $9.99, while the Premium plan with 4K UHD support is $19.99.
