NASA ends Mars mission! – ShiftDelete.Net

NASA has been researching the surface of Mars for a long time. In this process, information about the red planet is collected both from the air and from the ground with tools such as Perseverance, Curiosity, Ingenuity and InSight. In this process, the mandate of some vehicles has begun to expire.

NASA’s InSight rover on Mars ends

NASA has officially announced the end of its InSight mission after four years to Mars. The mission was terminated after NASA failed to make contact with the vehicle on two consecutive attempts and the mission team at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) concluded that InSight’s solar-powered batteries were dead.

InSight, which conducts research on seismic movements, geodesy and heat transfer on the Martian surface, was gradually losing power due to dust accumulating on solar panels. Finally, unable to recharge its batteries anymore, the InSight mission had to be finished.

NASA will establish a habitat on Mars with wind energy!

NASA researchers have found new way of life on Mars. According to researchers, it is possible to live on Mars with wind energy.

NASA shared the last image sent to Earth by InSight the other day. The image shows the wind and thermal shield protecting parts of the Mars vehicle. This image was posted on Twitter, along with a farewell message from InSight.

During its time on the Martian surface, InSight collected information about the planet’s inner layers, its liquid core, changes in its nearly extinct magnetic field, and weather on Mars. Together with InSight, it made the first detection of seismic activity on another planet. The spacecraft also managed to record an earthquake that occurred as a result of a meteor strike.

With the depletion of InSight’s batteries, one of NASA’s Mars missions came to an end. So what do you think about NASA’s research on the surface of Mars? You can share your views with us in the comments section.
