Claton Hendricks, who works as a Program Manager at Microsoft, introduced the new Task Manager of Windows 11 in a live broadcast on YouTube. He explained that the columns showing resource usage in tabs such as Performance, Processes will now be colored according to your computer’s system theme settings.
The accent color currently used in the Columns in Task Manager is orange (the hue of the color may change depending on how heavily your applications are using system resources). However, orange is not a pretty sight when in dark mode. With the update made in this context, users will be able to determine a color that is compatible with black.
However, the color of the Task Manager will not be able to be changed independently. in the settings app, as it will sync with your computer’s system theme. Personalization > Theme color You need to enter the section and choose the color you want from here. After doing this Windows 11 adapts the color to Task Manager.
The new Windows 11 version, which includes this update, is expected to be released in the fall. Known as 22H2, Microsoft is currently testing users who signed up for the Winows Insider program through the Dev and Beta channels.
If you want to experience it early, you can install the new version of Task Manager on your computer by joining the Dev Channel channel from Settings > Update and Security > Windows Insider Program. However, keep in mind that you may experience some problems as the testing phase is still ongoing.
