Meta talked about its augmented reality plans in an interview with The Verge. According to the news of The Verge, Meta will offer many products in the fields of augmented and virtual reality in the future.
The company gave clear information on this subject only for the first augmented reality glasses. Meta, 2027 will introduce augmented reality glasses in 2018. In fact, the company stated that with this new product it will introduce, it will make an impact as much as an ‘iPhone’ in the technology world.
Meta creates artificial intelligence assistants!
Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has announced that his company plans to develop “artificial intelligence characters” in the long term.
Augmented reality glasses, which are expected to be quite expensive, will be enriched in terms of hardware. Meta’s recently released Avatars will be projected into the real world with high quality holograms thanks to augmented reality glasses.
On the other hand, all employees of the company in this field will test the product concretely in 2024. In other words, the company will complete and test the product in 2024.
Apart from Meta, Apple also continues to work on AR and VR glasses. According to Apple analyst Kuo’s recent posts, the company will introduce two separate AR and VR glasses in two segments.
One of these glasses, which is at the entry level, will cost 3 thousand dollars (56,642.91 Turkish Liras) and the other will have a price tag of 5 thousand dollars (94,404.85 Turkish Liras). In addition, the glasses will be able to write in the air with hand and eye movements without being connected to any Apple product.
