Coinbase, on the other hand, confirmed the news of the partnership with the “handshake emoji” it shared. In another tweet, Coinbase addressed Adidas, “Welcome to the party, partner!” used the phrases.

Although the content of the said partnership is not known exactly at the moment, it is among the strong guesses that it is related to NFT. As a matter of fact, Coinbase has recently announced that it will open its own NFT platform and has chosen to cooperate with many famous brands.
On the other hand, it is known that Adidas has made various initiatives in the field of NFT.
Now, brands that are well aware of the advertising power of NFTs are taking serious steps in this regard. Another world-famous sports brand, Nike, has also applied to trademark various digital items in the USA.
The company recently filed a patent for “Cryptokicks,” a platform for selling NFTs that represent tokenized versions of physical shoes.
Aiming to increase the sales graph and move the industry to the next level by adding a non-exchangeable token (NFT) system over the Ethereum Blockchain network called CryptoKicks to its special series shoes, Nike continues to take firm steps forward on this path.
