MediaTek may be developing a computer processor

MediaTekcurrently dominated by Qualcomm Windows on ARM (Windows with ARM) is preparing to enter the computer market. According to reports from China, the chipmaker is developing its own ARM-based processor designed specifically for Windows PCs.

Nowadays Windows on ARM platform Qualcomm Snapdragon Can be used with processors. MediaTek, on the other hand, is working on Windows processors based on the existing ARM architecture in order to quickly adapt to this market. It was claimed that this processor will be released next year.

This move by MediaTek actually comes at a very important time. The agreement between Qualcomm and ARM will expire in 2025. After this date, ARM architecture developed for Windows computers will be available to all companies. MediaTek also wants to make its own processor using ARM chips.
