Manchester United: The somewhat different football share

Dusseldorf In terms of sport, the football club Manchester United has had a disappointing season: they failed to qualify for the financially lucrative Champions League in the first English division, and there was also an early end in all cup competitions. However, Manchester United remains the measure of all things on the stock exchange.

With a market capitalization of over $2.1 billion, no listed football club comes anywhere near that. And although the share price has recently fallen significantly, analysts see significant potential in the medium term. According to the Bloomberg financial service, only three stock experts are currently covering the club: they see around 40 percent upside potential over a twelve-month period.
