Features coming with macOS Sequoia
You will be able to control your iPhone from your Mac
macOS Sequoia improves the “Continuity” feature. Users will be able to mirror and control their iPhone on the Mac screen. It will be possible to use all applications directly on the computer. It has even become possible to drag something from iPhone to Mac.
iPhone notifications will be shown
The new macOS version will also show iPhone notifications. These notifications will appear next to Mac notifications.
Server preview mode for screen sharing
This mode will work with applications such as FaceTime and Zoom. It will also bring new backgrounds.
A brand new “Passwords” app
macOS Sequoia will introduce a brand new “Passwords” app that allows users to control all their passwords. Previously, passwords were added to Settings.
New “Highlights” feature in Safari
The new Highlights feature will use machine learning to show you information that may be of interest to you from pages as you browse the web.
When will macOS Sequoia be released?
Apple will release the developer beta of the new version today. The beta that will reach everyone will arrive next month. It will be widely available in the fall.
