Lufthansa’s one-euro bonus annoys travel agencies

Dusseldorf After the handling chaos at Germany’s airports and the cancellation of more than 5000 flights this summer, Lufthansa is now making a misstep in sales. According to information from the Handelsblatt, Europe’s largest aviation group compensates German travel agencies for the extra work caused by the chaos in air traffic by offering them a bonus for every ticket sold. What enrages the flight salespeople: The announced additional income per travel booking is limited to just one euro.
