Raunheim Jens Ritter has set himself big goals. “We want to achieve record results in 2025,” said the head of Lufthansa German Airlines on Thursday evening in the Digital Hangar in Raunheim, the company’s digital think tank. And Ritter promises something else: The upcoming summer will not be as chaotic as the last one, in which numerous flights had to be canceled at short notice due to a lack of staff.
Lufthansa German Airlines is the core brand of the Lufthansa Group and is located in the premium segment. At the beginning of March, the group plans to present figures for 2022. Then it will be shown that of the company’s numerous passenger flight operations, only the subsidiaries Swiss and AUA have made a profit. The remaining airlines are still in the red, including the core brand.
