Season 19 of *Love is in the Meadow* concluded with a remarkable outcome, as over eight out of twelve farmers found love, a record for the show. Highlights included Flavie and Valentin’s enduring relationship amid health challenges, Mickaël’s proposal to Nadia, and several couples discussing future commitments. However, not all farmers experienced success, with some continuing their journeys to find love post-show. The season showcased the unpredictable and heartfelt nature of romance among the contestants.
Exciting Recap of *Love is in the Meadow* Season 19
After unveiling the portraits of the twelve farmers who participated in the new season of *Love is in the Meadow* last January, the much-anticipated season kicked off in August, bringing joy to fans. The journey included speed-dating, romantic outings, farm visits, crucial decisions, and intimate weekends for pairs. The farmers took their final bows on Monday, December 2, 2024, following two recap episodes. Karine Le Marchand hinted at an incredibly positive summary filled with love stories among the farmers, and we had a taste of the first part last week.
Finding Love on the Show
On December 2, viewers tuned in for the second and final recap episode, revealing that this season has been particularly fruitful for the contestants. Remarkably, more than eight out of the twelve farmers have found love, marking a record since the show’s inception. Last year was a stark contrast, with only one couple, Patrice and Justine, emerging from the season. But who are these fortunate eight farmers? The latest recap has finally shed light on this question!
In the previous episode, fans were thrilled to learn that Flavie and Valentin are still going strong, despite facing the challenges of Flavie’s cancer diagnosis revealed during the show. Mickaël also made headlines when he proposed to the lovely Nadia, who decided to move in with him on his farm after filming. Their love story culminated in a heartfelt “YES.”
During the final recap, Karine Le Marchand caught up with the remaining farmers. Renaud and Anne are still together, overcoming some bumps after their trip to Ireland; Renaud expressed his understanding of Anne’s concerns and the efforts he needs to make. Brice shared that his romance with Marion, who resides in Barcelona, is thriving, leading her to move to Nouvelle-Aquitaine to be with him. Bruno and Clémence are also on cloud nine, discussing future plans like marriage and children. Lastly, Christophe found happiness with Yann, despite facing challenges regarding the age difference and his children’s opinions, which led to Yann moving in with him.
However, not all farmers found love during the season. Stéphane and Ludovic experienced longer journeys to happiness outside of filming. Stéphane, whose suitors left the adventure early, ultimately found love with Nejma, who reached out after the selection process. Ludovic, while initially continuing with Mélanie, realized they were not compatible and soon found himself in another budding relationship with someone who contacted him after filming—a development that seems to be progressing quickly for the host.
Unfortunately, Karell and Manuela, along with Gillou and Pascal, did not find romantic success on the show. Gillou faced challenges due to distance with Marie, while Pascal’s hopes with Murielle did not come to fruition. As we wrap up another captivating season of *Love is in the Meadow*, the farmers’ journeys remind us of the unpredictable nature of love.
