Logistics start-up Grünfuchs strengthens retailers in the fight against Amazon

Grünfuchs founder Felix Dossmann

The entrepreneur wants to secure the future of inner-city retailers in the fight against online giants like Amazon.

Dusseldorf The Göttingen household goods retailer Markus Reich draws hope for his business again: The new delivery service Grünfuchs is not uninvolved in this. Thanks to his logistics concept, he is now “in a position to offer ranges in the city center that we could hardly sell before, such as drying racks or ironing boards, which customers find difficult to transport themselves,” says the owner of the traditional company Carl Tode Household Goods.

The system is not only very easy to use for his employees, it also only costs three euros per delivery. “You don’t usually get a package anywhere for that,” says the entrepreneur. “It offers huge added value for retailers.”

In a number of cities, local retailers have set up delivery services, especially during the Corona period, in order to be able to maintain their business and offer customers an additional service. But the Göttingen start-up Grünfuchs goes far beyond that. “We not only offer a delivery service, but a comprehensive logistics solution,” promises founder Felix Dossmann.
