Lenovo’s new mini PC model, the Yoga Portal, is an updated version of the previous ThinkCenter Neo Ultra model. This new model offers superior performance with its Core i7-14700 processor and GeForce RTX 4070 graphics card. The Yoga Portal, which is particularly ambitious in terms of graphics performance, draws attention with its full desktop GPU usage. However, this powerful performance also has a disadvantage; due to the special cooling design, it can be quite difficult or impossible to replace the graphics card.
The Yoga Portal comes with 32GB of DDR5 RAM and a 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD, both of which are upgradeable. There’s also a dedicated M.2 slot for a standalone NPU card. The device measures 195x191x108mm and is loaded with ports. On the front, there are two USB-A ports, one USB-C port, and a headphone/microphone combo jack, while on the back, there are more USB-A ports, HDMI, and DisplayPort ports.
Lenovo introduced the ThinkCenter Neo Ultra as a cost-effective option for small and medium-sized businesses to take advantage of AI technologies. The Yoga Portal continues this strategy in the Chinese market and is offered to users with a more powerful graphics card. The Yoga Portal is priced at RMB 17,999 (approximately $2,514) in China. This price is quite competitive compared to the international version, as a ThinkCenter Neo Ultra with similar features costs around $4,164.
