Frankfurt The logistics entrepreneur Klaus-Michael Kühne has further increased his stake in Lufthansa. According to information from financial circles, Kühne has taken over part of the shares that the federal government sold on Tuesday. It is not known how many papers he bought.
He should also get a seat on Lufthansa’s supervisory board. According to information from the Handelsblatt, this was agreed at a meeting between Kühne, CEO Carsten Spohr and Chairman of the Supervisory Board Karl-Ludwig Kley. According to this, a place should be made available for Kühne at the latest for next year’s Annual General Meeting. Lufthansa did not want to comment on the information. Kühne Holding could not initially be reached for comment.
