Korean Prosecutors Can Arrest Terra Co-Founder, Too!

Terra co-founder, South Korea’s prosecutor’s office said on Monday. Do Kwon and former Chai Corp CEO Han Chang-joon, who were arrested in Montenegro last week, said they wanted an arrest warrant for his co-founder Daniel Shin.

As Koinfinans.com previously reported, news that Do Kwon and former Chai Corp CEO Han Chang-joon set up a crypto business in Serbia appeared in the press.

The Seoul Southern District Procuratorate’s Office announced on March 27 that prosecutors said Chai Corp, the founder of Terraform Labs, which co-founded Terraform Labs with Do Kwon. Daniel ShinHe officially confirmed that they wanted to be arrested. As prosecutors prepare for Do Kwon’s extradition to South Korea, Korean prosecutors are also preparing to launch new investigations.

US Attorney SDNY has filed an indictment in New York’s Southern District Court with eight charges related to the $60 billion Terra-LUNA crisis. These charges include fraud, commodity fraud, securities fraud, wire fraud and conspiracy to market manipulation.

Although Shin’s lawyers previously announced that he left Terraform Labs in 2020 and has not been involved in its activities since then, prosecutors have conducted several investigations and raids over the past year.
