Cryptocurrency startup MoonPay has received investments from more than 60 names, including Justin Bieber, Snoop Dogg, and Maria Sharapova.
According to the statement made by MoonPay on Wednesday, the total amount of investment the company has received from these names 87 million dollars it happened. It was stated that these investments are included in the $ 555 million Series A investment arranged in November 2021.
MoonPay reached a total valuation of $3.4 billion after this investment round.
Founded in 2019, MoonPay; It provides users with the payment infrastructure required to transact with cryptocurrencies and non-fungible tokens (NFT). The company operates in 160 different countries with more than 10 million users.
MoonPay management believes that more and more content creators will use NFT technology to both market their work and interact with their fans. Recently, companies such as Coca-Cola, McDonald’s and Nike have also benefited from NFT technology.
