Dusseldorf High inflation, rising interest rates and fears of recession are making themselves felt in the recruitment of the most important start-ups in Germany. After years of growth, there are currently just over 1,000 jobs at 25 of the country’s most valuable young companies. For comparison: In April the number was still 2348. This is shown by data from the job exchange Indeed, which is available to the Handelsblatt.
Only so-called unicorns were examined, i.e. young companies with a valuation of at least one billion euros. According to the evaluation, the start-up with the most job applications is the transport company Flix with 172 advertisements. However, here too the number of applications fell by more than a third compared to the previous month.
