Longtime CNBC host Jim Cramer is on Thursday’s “Squawk Box” show. cryptocurrency harshly criticized their units, describing the whole thing as a “huge” scam.

“Everything seems so bottomless that I don’t know how to grasp it,” he said.

Jim Cramer Accuses Some Altcoins of Fraud

The former hedge fund manager complains that people are confusing the blockchain with “fraud”.

Cramer recently shared the opinion of JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon, who compared crypto to “pet stones” while praising blockchain.

The rhetoric of “blockchain, not bitcoin” has been gaining traction since 2014, and crypto critics argue that this technology has more promising uses beyond speculative trading.
