The residential sector is one of the four most important energy consumption sectors in Germany.

Frankfurt So much beginning was rare. “The Russian war of aggression against Ukraine marks a turning point for the energy supply in Germany,” said a few days ago in a draft law by the federal government on the expansion of renewable energies. The big goal: By 2030, Germany wants to emit 65 percent fewer greenhouse gases than in 1990 – and achieve the goal of climate neutrality as early as 2045 instead of 2050. This also has massive implications for German property owners.

The residential sector is one of the four most important sectors of energy consumption in Germany and will face a major effort in the coming years. New requirements for heating, subsidies, CO2 tax: Homeowners and tenants now have to rethink in many areas.
