It was alleged that sahibinden.com was hacked

It was alleged that sahibinden.com, one of Turkey’s largest online platforms, was hacked. It was stated that all the data that is said to be seized will be shared free of charge.

While the allegations of huge data leaks in Getir and BiTaksi were raised just the other day, another giant was shared today. sahibinden.com is hacked, data of approximately 60 million users. allegedly seized.

An example of the data that was stated to have been captured in a post on a hacker forum was also shared. If the user who shared the post receives 100 thank you messages will share all data suggested.

Shared by sahibinden.com on the hacker forum:

“I am sharing important data such as names, surnames, phone numbers and e-mail addresses of approximately 60 million users of Turkey’s most visited site. Information on corporate members, who make up the bulk of their annual income of 250 million dollars, can be found in the link below.

If I get 100 thank you messages under this post, I will share the data of all members. If I get 250 thank you messages, I will share the site’s user data in sqlite format. Passwords are encrypted with SHA1 algorithm, so you may need mining farm (system with many graphics cards) to crack passwords.

Why am I sharing this data for free? The price of the house I looked at in Antalya last year doubled in dollar terms because of this site! Plus, I said I could disclose the vulnerabilities for free, but they read my email and didn’t care. I have never seen such a disgraceful site in terms of security.”

Data allegedly seized:

  • Name surname
  • Phone number
  • E-mail address
  • Information about corporate accounts

There is no statement from sahibinden.com yet on the subject.
